Psychotherapy

Our team at Brenna Lanktree and Associates, Inc. offers individual counselling services for children and adults, with Registered Master's-level Psychotherapists. Our approach is client-centred and include components of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).

Cost: $190.00/hr

Psychological Assessments

At Brenna Lanktree and Associates, Inc. our Registered Psychologist, Alara Hedebring, provides and oversees psychological assessments for children and adults. We provide psycho-educational assessments, Gifted and Talented assessments, and ADHD assessments for children ages 6-17.

Cost: $4,500.00

AIM - In-centre and Virtual

AIM uses a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Applied Behaviour Analysis to teach children to be more psychological flexible. To reach our goals, a hexaflex is used which serves as a visual aid for classifying and treating client problems holistically. There are six domains of ACT; Present moment, values, commited action, self as context, defusion, and acceptance.

Hours for Group 2: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Welcome to the AIM Explorers! This program is offered to children between the ages of 6-10 and is offered in-centre. This program uses activities, stories, and fun characters to teach socio-emotional skills. Children will learn to identify their feelings and understand how their feelings and thoughts affect their behaviour. They will also learn strategies to carry on through challenging situations and make choices that move them towards their values.

Ages: 6-10

The Balance Program for Parents

The Balance Program was developed by Dr. Kelsey Ruppel and aims to prevent the development of severe problem behaviour in children that may be engaging in non-dangerous problem behaviour such as whining, yelling, flopping to the floor, swiping items. The program consists of 10 customizable lessons, over 12 weeks, rooted in behavioural and early childhood research. This program is conveniently virtual, and requires that the parent only meet with our therapist once per week. Our team has received consultation with Dr. Ruppel for over 2 years and is highly trained in implementing The Balance Program.

Cost: $4,105.00 (incluses $480.00 intake fee)

Peers - Virtual

An evidence-based social skills program that is implemented in a group setting to achieve the following goals among children and adolescents with ASD:

Building and maintaining positive peer relationships

Responding to and coping with conflict and rejection

Improving social interactions with peers.

Option 1:

Hours: 90 mins per week for adolescents and 90 mins per week for social coaches (can be parents or we can supply a coach) - these sessions occur simultaneously

Length of Time: 7 weeks

Cost: $3,703.50 (includes $480.00 intake fee)

Option 2: 

Hours: 90 mins per week for adolescents and 90 mins per week for social coaches (can be parents or we can supply a coach) - these sessions occur simultaneously

Length of Time: 14 weeks

Cost: $6,927.00 (includes  $480.00 intake fee)

Skill-based Treatment

Skill-Based Treatment is a program developed by Dr. Gregory Hanley to address severe problem behaviour by teaching communication, toleration, and cooperation. Our team has received several hours of in person and virtual training through Dr. Hanleys group (FTFBC.com). Our supervising Registered Behaviour Analysts are both credentialed at level 6: Train the Trainer, which is the highest level granted to individuals employed outside of FTF. Additionally, our therapist implementing the program are credentialed at level 4: Lead Implementor.
